I just finished the 2nd stand of 4 for this unit, so I have 6 horses and riders left to paint. This group has shako's this time. I took the advise from others and stopped painting(or trying) eyes. If you are lousy at painting them like I am, they will detract from what would otherwise be good work. So here they are...
Thanks for stopping by... cheers

They are really looking the business!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Excellent work. The green on the pelisse really looks great. Love the horses too.
ReplyDeleteThey look great. I find that putting the eye-brows in hair color is all that's needed often. You might try that as a compromise between painting full eyes and nothing.
ReplyDeleteExcellent work, my good man!!! They look top notch!!
ReplyDeletethey look awesome. in answer to you question i use german grey and just do a highlight not a full coat and i also use it to paint the harness and it works because you leave so much of the black
ReplyDeleteThanks guys, I am working on the last 6 for this unit now and should have them posted this weekend...Thanks again for the kudo's.
ReplyDeleteCheers.
